Me and my friends were all at a local school/park, because parts of Detroit lost power from a really bad storm, most people didn't have power for 3-5 days. And so we were at the park for a long time. And I noticed as I was walking through the park, following them, that there was a bench that sat directly inbetween two trees. And I loved how the bright light from the sunset made the trees black and almost glow when I took a photo. I loved it. So I asked one of my friends to sit on the bench. I am happy Kasey was the one who helped me out, lol.

And the title kinda relates to Kasey. Sometimes it's like she is inbetween worlds. And I wish I knew where she goes sometimes in her head. Because she looks soo happy. Peaceful. And so once I got the lighting editing and I was done, I realized that the title, fits extremely well with the vibe of this portrait. Because thats what it is. It's a portrait of her. Because I love her, and I this is sooo her!
