Seeing Through The Seasons

Start/Finished: Feb 2nd-8th 2016.

Watercolor for the background with real leaves glued
on top- I really loved how these leaves rotted away
with fall. At the end of fall they were all just former
skeletons of full green leaves. Like the half green &
half skeleton ones near the very top of the piece.
I wanted to include those to show what they started
as and show how the season had morphed their beauty.

This canvas is 11 x 14.
